When I joined the first wave of retirement baby boomers in January, it seemed the perfect time to reinvent myself.

I'm no trophy wife, but when I get out of the shower and stand buck naked in front of the mirror, I usually raise my eyebrows and say "not bad". Of course at 5 foot 4 inches and 140 pounds, I know I'm pushing the envelope. From seventh grade to age 40, I weighed 115 pounds and sixty percent of my body weight was in my chest, so I'd been nonchalant about my good figure. Now I put on my bifocals and demanded an explanation.
